Sliced Chat (https://slicedchat.com) is a product built and operated by Pawprintf Ltd ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using Sliced Chat, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

1. Description of Service

Sliced Chat is a real-time, ephemeral, unmoderated public chat application. Messages sent on the platform are held temporarily in server memory and are not permanently logged or backed up by us.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to access and use Sliced Chat. Because the platform is an unmoderated, live public forum, it is not designed for or directed at children. By clicking "I Agree" and using the service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.

3. User Conduct and Unmoderated Content

Sliced Chat is an unmoderated public square. By using the service, you acknowledge that you may encounter content generated by other users that you find offensive, indecent, or objectionable.

You agree that you will not use Sliced Chat to:

• Share, distribute, or promote illegal content.
• Post hate speech, or content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hostility against protected groups.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or doxx other users.
• Spam the chat feeds or attempt to disrupt the servers (e.g., via DDoS attacks or automated bots).
• Impersonate others or share sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to block IP addresses or ban users who violate these rules, without prior notice or explanation.

4. Ephemeral Nature of the Service

Because the service is ephemeral, we make no guarantees regarding the persistence, delivery, or reliability of any messages. Chat history is routinely wiped upon server restarts or capacity limits. Do not use Sliced Chat to transmit important information.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain your rights to any content you submit. However, by sending a message in a public slice, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content temporarily to other users of the service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sliced Chat is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Pawprintf Ltd expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or continuous uninterrupted operation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Pawprintf Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service, or resulting from any user-generated content displayed on the service. You use Sliced Chat entirely at your own risk.
